Well its been a long few weeks since I was prematurely positive... I managed to get the divorce rolling a bit faster and now it has the stops on it.. So at last I got the Divorce to the courts at least that's how I think it works..I have a letter from the court and a number.. all done early feb.. and sent to her on the 18th.... I am happy as my unreasonable behavior includes all her reasons for the divorce and mine Mine Lack of intimacy Controlling Unknown Third party Hers I am; She demanded a divorce No reconciliation Reverted to Maiden name She is not the marrying

Another visit to my counselling group tonight. I thought of working on my sadness at the loss of my family. However stuff about assertiveness by another group member intervened. I am aware that assertiveness with my wife gets nowhere- she just redefines it as "argumentativeness" and raises the stakes higher and higher to the 3rd degree- mental illness, paedophilia, suicide, death threats. But then her fears are justified by her family's history. I guess I made a bad choice. I feel a lot more sane and safe now that I am out of the family flat. I assume it is a bit of a disaster

A lot has happened in the world of DIAH over the last few months. Just wishful thinking really, not a lot has happened at all and I am still in the wonderful world of limbo. Just think that I am so week and wish I could man up and face reality head on then move on to the new life that I envy fellow wikis have described. We have had some wonderful times over the last few months together, somehow I think that is the renewed ‘honeymoon’ effect.
