Anyone remember that advert? It's been playing over and over in my head. My ex left on Monday, and I started straight in on sorting the house out to 1) Hide the gaps that he had left - furniture, books etc 2) make the place look different as my daughter feels that she wont want to live her as it will remind her of us all being together, so I said I would change things as much as I am able to make her more comfortable, and 3), last, but certianly not least, to make the place mine. So everything is being moved, and if it not moved, it is thoroughly cleaned. It is amazingly cathartic. When I am done - and being done is not remotely in sight at the moment - I will have reclaimed every item that is in this house.
Right, off to the dump!

LOL Lu!!! Hfb, wish my stbx would leave, but he's stubborn. Life would be so much easier. Don't forget to buy some fresh cut flowers to brighten the place up and focus your attention on the future. Supercali xx |
