OH HELLS BELLS, WHAT NEXT??Posted by lilaclace in my day today, bad day |

Hi everyone. I don't normally do blogs but I thought I would today.
My partner and his stbx are still battling out the finances, I should say at this point, my partner has been forced down this road as his ex hasn't spoken to him face to face since she kicked him out almost 3 yrs ago now! She has been told by the court the outcome has to go 50/50 but still she won't give in! We're heading back to court in July which will be the final hearing(we hope). After that day she will have 56 days in which to cough up or put house on market. She has used the children as pawns to try to get her own way but the judge was having none of it as she earns double than my partner and she wants to keep a house which she admitted in court exceeds her needs! Even when my partner was involved in a hit and run on his motorbike she wanted money from him via CSA which he wasn't earning! She didn't even tell the children their Dad had been injured, they were left to find out on the sunday we had them! She knew he had been hurt as she was called to the accident..she is a paramedic!! After being dishcarged from the consultant last week we thought things were on the up, but oh no..my partner went down with food poisoning caught from a bakery not my cooking I hasten to add!
As that wasn't enough, I had my car written off this monday and I was in it! 3rd party admitted it was his fault. And who should turn up to treat me...you guessed it...his soon to be ex lol
In the 2 yrs I've known my partner it has been one disaster after another...I do wonder at times if he is jinxed?!
As people say to us if we can make it through all of this lot and still be together at the end, we stand a good chance of survival.
Was feeling down and just felt like telling someone or nobody, depends who reads this really!
Have a great weekend guys and girls. As for me, I'm off work with whiplash, a bruised sternum and seatbelt bruising so no gardening for me :(

Hiya just wanted to say that it may seem you are jinxed but how can that be so when you are obviously in love? I wish you well and you seem to have plenty of spirit to get through this and it will be so rewarding for you both when it has finally been resolved. I was in love and still do love my stbx but we don't have anything to do with each other and havent since it happened nearly nine months ago, I do miss him but am getting there and hope like you to be "so much in love" one day again. Hope you recover quickly from your accident and that your partner is well too, take care and I wish you both all the best in the world, Biffy xxxxx | |

Hi Biffy, Thanks for the support...It seems each time we seem to get on top of things there is yet another blow to send us crashing back down to the ground floor again..I'm normally a strong person so it is even more frustrating that I feel so dragged down by all of this stuff going on within my life. I do wonder at times if I'm in love as it is a totally different feeling I have for my partner than I did with my husband. That was a longing love, and we do have 2 kids but with my new guy it is more of a 'relaxed' relationship if that makes sense? I can be me all the time now where as before I was me when out with friends or around my family but a slightly different person within my husbands' company/family. He never beat me but I always had to watch what I said in case of upsetting the apple cart as it were. Even when I lost 7 stone he still called me fat & ugly...I know I'm neither but told often enough it does stick! After my divorce I had guys queueing up to take me out...funny really..I've known a lot of them for many years on the singing circuit but not taken any notice lol. I turned them down but we are still friends which is more important. I was determined not to have a parade of men in my life...I've got someone special and finally I can be me without fear of reprisals...he's been treated the same way so you could say we're kindred spirits.
