I am divorcing because my stbx was verbally, physically and emotionally abusive, manipulative and controlling.  Through the divorce he is still being verbally, emotionally, financially manipulative and controlling.  I know all this.

If I know all this then WHY am I so STUPID?????

Last night he got me to blurt out on the phone exactly what he wanted to know.  He may as well have just asked the questions and I could have given him the answers, on a plate.  Why dont I really do the job properly and follow  it up with an email to him this morning reiterating these points.

 My solicitor unbelievably efficient, received papers through post this morning.  Horrible to write your childrens names and dates of birth on such things.  Feel a bit numb but want to get it done.  Once I give them in I am saying goodbye to my husband (good riddance) but also my children as I know he will poison them against me as he poisoned our marriage.  Any love I had for him has gone and I just want rid but the thought of being 3000 miles away from my children cripples me.  How the hell am I going to keep them

Had to flee middle east due to physical and mental abuse from husband before he finished me off.  (We are both British, he has someone else, would not admit it and decided to get rid of me one way or another - he succeeded).
