Totally frustrated with the inability of stbx to sign the Consent Order. It is now 6 months since  he agreed to the financial settlement in principle but I have asked for him to get life insurance to cover his maintenance payments for me and my youngest son. He has a huge problem s  with this apparently as he has not seen or spoken to me for over a year now and all dialogue has to be through solicitors which as you can imagine his hugely expensive. Having had a bad week feeling very sorry for myself I decided enough was enough today and have instructed my solicitor to come down hard on stbx to try to get settlement sorted I am feed up with him not replying to solicitors letters. Given him till 25^th to make a decision or we go back to Court! More expense but I feel I have to follow this path to ensure he provides for our youngest son.

As a year draws to a close since stbx returned from a conference with the news he had found wonder woman I have sunk into a deep depression. I had hoped by now we would be divorced and the children and I could move on. We seem to be further away from a settlement than we were 6 months ago. Each time I think we have reached agreement he suddenly says he is not happy with the financial settlement and it's back to square one. I have now used all my savings and am relying on my sister and elderly mother for support. Meanwhile he has had an expensive skiing holiday with wonder woman!
