At the begining of this week I was at a really low place in my life. I had fallen out with my mother and my daughter was not speaking to me. My daughter and I have repaired our relationship but it is a different story with my mother. However, after all the years of snide comments etc I have had from her I am not going to rush back to her. She needs me more than I need her. I have always felt that I never had her approval unless I asked her permission to do something before I did it at 49 I am sure I am capable of making my own mind up.

 On Tuesday I was looking at jobs on a website in the area

So, last week I had the interesting task of telling my children that the contact order my ex husband had placed before court was now being withdrawn. 

Today I have the task of telling them that he has withdrawn his withdrawal and the contact order is now back in place.  I have been informed of this new change by my solicitor, and apparently, the change is at the advice of social services.  My solicitor is cross at the to-ing and fro-ing and needless to say I'm in the usual position of going along with whatever everyone else decides.  After all, I don't have a say, do I?

 My solicitor also said

I have been married for just over a year and we are in the middle of divorce proceedings, we split up due to the fact I had an affair. We have no children we own a house together, she has a good job that pays well and I do to however since we split i am not earning as much money as i used to due to being self employed.

I have paid her out of the house we own together but nothing was signed she wants another £2000 off me otherwise she said she ll take me for half the house again, the only record of this is  transaction from my bank to hers.

She also wants me to pay her solicitors fees etc I
