Well Happy New Year!! Now 1st Jan 2009. I've been here on this site since everything went wrong in October.

When I came here I was in such a dark place. I was just 3 weeks into remission from an aggressive cancer and I was scared of what the future might hold.  I thought my future was mapped out with my "devoted" husband but it so wasn't. I came very close to making a wrong decision that would have affected my little boys for years to come. I know they need me now.

He said he didn't love me anymore, that something had been missing for a long time and that he'd tried so hard for so long, though

Just came indoors from lighting a few fireworks with my two teenagers and their friend Nick and for once I felt really happy.  Ive been so miserable my last few blogs its good to just feel great at the start of 2009 and I cant help thinking my stbx cant be having this much fun. He is going to miss so much with the children. Happy New Year to everyone on
