If You Love Someone, Set Her Free...

Are we butterflies, birds, barnyard animals, or people?

I don't remember when I first heard the phrase, "If you love someone, set her free..." The implication being that you cannot capture someone to love.

Like a butterfly that might be damaged during capture, forever destroying the beauty, setting free the creature you wish to possess may entice a return to grace your vision yet again.

Or, some other such nonsence. Love isn't a butterfly. It's a battlefield. I heard it on the radio.

ITS SO HARD

Never 'blogged' before but decided to give it a go - am feeling so low, cant seem to move on with my life.

Its been almost 18 months since x left me to be with someone else.  It has been the worst time of my life and isnt getting any better.  My thoughts are still with them to the extent x was in my dreams only last night. I feel i cant take much more. Dont know what to do, where to turn - I know i am a mess.

 I was with my x for 25 years 18 of them married, we were young when we got together and have 3 wonderful children who are my life. 

 It still haunts me, the night i was told. 

since my last blog things are moving so fast

Husband's depression is improving, still has really down days. Which I find hard to deal with.

I am still decorating the house, nearly every room needs painted etc. work men still there, plastering etc. I Have lived in a builders yard for the last 10 yrs if not more. I always said that the day it got finished would be the day it got sold.

Husband is still talking at me constantly, we have been to 2 counseling sessions. Then it continues when I am in the marital home working, Constant talk of what went wrong, how it could be, how he has changed, all
