New Years Day 2009- to wish everyone a happy New Year does not sit comfortably with me, however I hope that like me you all have hope in your hearts for a happier year. This time last year I could not  have envisaged what was ahead. Thank you to those who have left comments, it was good to be reminded that there is kindness in bucket loads if only you are able to find it. My self esteem has fallen from average to hovering above zero, not only on an emotional and social level but at work and worst of all as a parent. Well, thats the holidays over that many here were dreading, hope you all got through it ok & had a good new years eve. I was partying until 5am at a friends house, it was a great night, i even had a 35 yr old guy flirting all night with me lol he gave me his number & wants to see me again! God, a few months ago i thought i was past it at 51 but lately ive had my pick of men, its been fun if nothing else.

Anyway, 2009 has got to be better than 2008, i will never forget it & how much my ex put me through, but its all in the past now & i think i'm even ready to forgive him? I think if i forgive

Since the last entry here I have moved house, with the children and we are now living 3 miles up the road from our old home. We spent our first night here last night, a memorable way to spend New Year.

Since the social services visit the children have not seen their mother and only spoken to her about 4/5 times over the school holiday.  Apparently she is in America!  How she got there with no money and who she is with remains a mystery.  Even her family are are quite surprised at her actions.

Children being incredibly good about it all, despite our son saying how he misses his mum - very sad
