half gone, half to go

Saturday has been great, one of the better one over the last few months, I was up early play golf with one of my mates, came home all was normal, went in the garden with the kids, then swimming, McD's on the way home and now the STBX has gone out for the night.

Why can it not always be like this, or is this the lull before the storm? I'm still waiting for her reply, she has been out a few time during the week so i'm guessin to her sol one of them, would in the words of Kevin Keegan, " I would just love it" if he has told her the proposal i have put forward she should take!

Mediation in Scotland.

I'm writing this to impart what my experiences of mediation have thus far been. I'm hoping that it will be of some use, as I've found online exmples of legal processes and experiences in Scotland somewhat hard to come by.

To me, it has been a positive experience, but I suppose I should qualify that with a brief history of the background to the failure of our marriage.

Its all over at last. I am free of my past marrriage of 33 years.............. The relief, the instant relesase of the stress valve,  but the emotions still running riot.......... 

I went to what was supposed to be a pre trial hearing, ordered by the DJ, to sort out FH dates and statement of issues. ........The DJ turned it int a full blown FDR, with our permission, and retraced all the issues.........He then gave directions on his thoughts of the FH outcome and costs............Frightening or what!  £20k costs for a 2 day hearing and an outcome that I expected but my X would not
