hello all, up early today so made a beef stew for the slow cooker, went into town with my engagement ring to pawn, i dont want it any more so might as well make a bit of money out of it helps to pay the bills etc, they were shut. so went to the crematorium to have a chat with my lovely dad, that might sound mad to some people but thats how i deal with his loss, i told him i was glad he didnt have to see all the problems the ex has caused, although obviously i wished he was still here. LUV U DAD XXX had a walk round the gardens, they have a large pond there and it was frozen, so i sat and watched the ducks trying to walk on the ice, they were so funny, i must have been sat there watching them for a good half hour, laughing, i was in my own little world just engrossed in the ducks, every other thought was gone out of my head, free of the ex for half an hour. im going back up there tomorrow after work just to watch the ducks. i must sound mad but it really helped me today.

What a lovely story. I loved the thought that just being close to your lovely Dad helped bring some peace for today and emptied your mind of your ex for a while. You know now that's a great coping strategy for whenever you need some answers. @ caz. That sounds as though the ducks are going in the slow cooker tomorrow! Sorry for laughing. xx |

Hey, my current desktop is a picture of ducks on a frozen pond! I told another wiki how therapeutic watching them could be; sent her the picture, & we both find even just the photo helps. Weird? Yep. You do get a wet bum, if there's snow on the bench, though |

didnt manage to see the ducks today its been pouring with rain, but i dad take my engagement ring into the pawn brokers after work and got £136 for it, i was quite pleased with that xxxx | |
